A VIRUS
The Animality Virus, also known as the A-Virus, is a genus of the Progenitor virus that was engineered as a bioweapon by a research team led by former CIA agent Glenn Arias. The A-Virus causes a similar effect to that of the T-Virus.
ABYSS VIRUS
The Abyss Virus was discovered in the early 2000s in the body of a fish native to the Kermadec Trench east of New Zealand. The virus altered animal bodies to break down fat, improve muscular strength, and develop a skeleton more capable of surviving in high-pressure environments.
C VIRUS
The C Virus was created by combining an enhanced version of both the Abyss Virus with the G Virus variant. Studies on the C Virus are still ongoing due to instability and side effects.
G VIRUS
It was discovered in 1998 as the result of William Birkin's experiments with the Progenitor Virus and Las Plagas parasite. The results of studies on its effects have never been announced to public.
Las Plagas Parasite
Las Plagas is a breed of parasitic superorganisms which originated from a remote valley in the Iberian Peninsula. People who expose to Las Plagas become much stronger and highly resistant to pain. Side effect is the loss of higher reasoning.
PROGENITOR VIRUS
The Progenitor Virus was a double stranded RNA virus originating which was the basis of the T-Virus. Virus become the base from which the Umbrella Corporation's most successful Bio Organic Weapons research would ever stem several decades later.
T VIRUS
Created by the Umbrella Corporation, the T-Virus was derived from Progenitor, a non-carcinogenic virus originally discovered in West Africa. Umbrella and other organizations have used the T-Virus as a catalyst for producing various types of biological weapons.
UROBOROS VIRUS
Created by Umbrella Inc. researcher Albert Wesker in 2009.The purpose of Uroboros was to enforce natural selection in the human race; certain select individuals with superior genes would be enhanced by the virus, altered into a superior breed of genetic "supermen" with intellect.
